Designers are not the only ones on a sugar high this spring: pretty pastels and lovely touches of lace were first spotted down the Spring 2012 runways at Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Christopher Kane, and now have been spotted on stars such as Kate Bosworth, Lauren Conrad and Emma Stone. But don’t think you need to have a red carpet event on the agenda to wear this look—lace-lined dresses and pale shades of green, pink and yellow are a perfect fit for garden parties or weekend cocktails.

Celebrity Style: White Fairy Tale Love Ball

Last night, Russian model Natalia Vodianova hosted the White Fairy Tale Love Ball at Valentino’s Château de Wideville on the outskirts of Paris. Selena wore a sexy Dolce & Gabbana gown to the 2011 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas earlier this month, Rosie showed off her back in a Max Mara gown at the 2011 Maxim Hot 100 Party in Hollywood, Halle wore a revealing Halston dress to the 2011 FiFi Awards in New York City, and Chloe wore a lace cut-out dress from Opening Ceremony for an event in New York City. Mila Kunis, actress, nominated as part of the cast of Black Swan for a SAG award for best movie made a big fashion statement with her Alexander McQueen red dress as she walked down the red carpet the evening of January 30th, 2011!
As a Hollywood starlet and beautiful young woman, she exudes confidence – her stunning expression makes you wonder what she’s thinking as she pouts for the camera!  The cast of Black Swan, including close friend and actress Natalie Portman, Vincent Cassel, Barbara Hershey, and Winona Ryder, each added depth through their roles in the film.
Actress Mila Kunis, born in the Ukraine on August 14^th, 1983, attended college briefly before she decided she wanted to pursue an acting career. Her first film was Make a Wish, Molly, in 1995. She’s also well known for playing Jackie on the hit television series That 70s Show with actor Ashton Kutcher and does the voice of Meg on Family Guy.
Interesting fact: She dated child star actor McCauley Culkin for eight years. The couple just broke up in recent months. The break-up was kept quiet as to not take away from the attention she was receiving as part of the cast for Black Swan.  As a humble young woman, however, she is not afraid to quell rumors about her love life made up and started by tabloid journalists to sell more print newspapers:

“I’ve been engaged, I think I’ve already been married, and I’m sure I have a child somewhere. I’m waiting to have something else happen. No, I’m not married. And, no, I’m not engaged. And, no, I do not have a child. No one seems to listen. And next week I’ll be engaged again. I think, at one point, they were like, “Seen shopping in Beverly Hills for engagement rings.” We were in Japan working. What is wrong with these people? Half the time you can say they misconstrued facts. But, more often than not, they just make stuff up.”

This is a nice attitude to see in a rising young female star! It was also a real pleasure to see the Hollywood star wearing such a beautiful evening dress. Mila Kunis also looked great at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards wearing a stunning green ball gown. She’s definately on the Hollywood A List when it comes to fashion watch this awards show season!

MTV Movie Awards' Hottest Style Stars

If there was one trend ruling the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards, then it had to be thigh-skimming minidresses. Leading the pack was our very own Sienna Miller. Wearing a jade green glittering minidress from her Twenty8Twelve collection, the Brit actress reminded us all of her style icon status, and looked radiant with her signature blonde locks tumbling and a pair of vertiginous metallic heels elongating her picture-perfect pins.

Fast emerging as a style star to watch, Vanessa Hudgens proved her fashion credentials at the MTV Movie Awards, and wowed in a tangerine Max Azria draped plunging gown. Teen stars take note – the High School Musical beauty has nailed grown-up glamour, while retaining a youthful edge.

Usually the queen of the thigh-skimming frock, the A-lister instead kept things casual, in J Brand jeans, a printed top and suede boots. Fine for a spot of down-time dressing perhaps, but we expect more from the typically glam Cam. She took to the red carpet with her My Sister's
Keeper co-stars, Sofia Vassilieva and Abigail Breslin.

Fresh from her Cannes sojourn, Hayden Panettiere landed back in Hollywood for the MTV Movie Awards. The Heroes star kept things short and sweet in a halterneck minidress, with kick-out hem, teamed with Bally peep-toes.

In a particular shade of tangerine that we've only ever seen before in a bowl of Angel Delight, Paris Hilton struck her very best aren't-I-pretty pose as she walked the red carpet at this weekend's MTV Movie Awards.
