Taylor Swift covers 'InStyle' June 2011 looking absolutely gorgeous in a Victoria Beckham dress. Inside the magazine, the 21-year-old singer talks about her biggest fears and what scares her about success, love, music and what does it mean to her, and future plans. Read some highlights from Taylor's interview.
'InStyle' surprised its readers with a beautiful cover for the magazine’s June 2011 issue, featuring the adorable country-pop phenom Taylor Swift. Inside, in the interview with the magazine, the 21-year-old singer talks about love and happiness, fears, unfulfillment, but also about her music, success and future plans.

"I have this really high priority on happiness and finding something to be happy about," Taylor told 'InStyle' about her expectations. As a celebrity you definitely need to have thick skin. Still, Taylor admits she has a more sensitive personality. "In this business you have to develop a thick skin, but I’m always going to feel everything. It’s my nature," she says.

Taylor's dating history includes some famous names, such as Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, and Jake Gyllenhaal. The young singer admits that in love feelings are more important than career. "There are no rules when it comes to love. I just try to let love surprise me because you never know who you’re going to fall in love with. You never know who’s going to come into your life – and for me, when I picture the person I want to end up with, I don’t think about what their career is, or what they look like. I picture the feeling I get when I’m with them," Taylor says.
Taylor released her self-titled debut album on October 24, 2006. On what music means to her, the singer told in the interview with 'InStyle' that, "Music is my shining light, my favorite thing in the world. To get me to stop doing it for one second would be difficult!"

As for what scares her the most, Taylor confesses that unhappiness and unfulfillment are her biggest two fears. "I’m most scared by the thought of prolonged, perpetual unhappiness, and of unfulfillment. I have this really high priority on happiness and finding something to be happy about. It’s not that I live in a delusional fantasy where I’m just smiling every day. I definitely feel pain, but there is also this need to be grateful for what I’ve been given," she told 'InStyle'.

What about success? Taylor admits she has seen so many people experiencing success in a rather disastrous way. "I’ve seen people who have become jaded by success. That scares me. I don’t want to go down that path," she says.

Gwen Stefani Covers Elle UK April 2011

Gwen Stefani covers the April issue of Elle UK. Her close friend, Garbage singer Shirley Manson, sat down with the gorgeous starlet for a special interview in which Gwen talks about her toned body, makeup, her plans for L.A.M.B, but also about marriage and what motivates her. Take a glimpse at some snippets from the interview.
Gwen Stefani strikes a pose on the cover of Elle UK April 2011. The beautiful 41-year-old singer, designer and the new face of L'Oréal Paris, sits for a talk with her best friend Shirley Manson whom she met in the early 1990s. The two chat about how Gwen manages to stay in shape and her workout schedule, her fashion line, makeup, but also about marriage and what drives her. On this last issue, she told the magazine that passion is her best motivation. "I think of myself as really lazy. My ideal day would be to never get out of bed. No one can force me to do something unless I'm passionate about it," she says.

Gwen, who is also a fashion designer, talks about her collection L.A.M.B. "I’m not even close to being where I want it to be yet. [Fashion] is very, very hard to do well, but I’m learning. I’m getting to the point where the last collection we did was a disaster until two weeks before – I had to fly to Montreal and review the whole collection – and it ended up being one of the most cohesive collections we’d ever done," Gwen told Elle.
Having one of the hottest figures in the business, Gwen reveals for Elle some of her secrets that help her maintain a toned body. "It's a daily struggle. I work out five days a week. I can't imagine not doing it," she admits. Stefani also added that she would love to have no restrictions whatsoever. "I’d like to have no rules and eat what I want, but I’ve learned over the years that I’m so disappointed when I can’t wear the clothes I want to wear."
It is well-known the fact that Gwen Stefani has always been extremely careful about the way she used her body. "There are certain artists I think I like, but then all of a sudden the clothes come off and I’m like, 'What are you talking about? You’ve gotta save that!' I have this real masculine-feminine thing; I’m not really that sexy – I get all made up and then I like to be a tough girl. I didn’t even wear high heels till I was in my thirties! To me, [stripping off] is so boring. Not to say that I don’t think a sexy picture can’t be beautiful," she says.

In the interview for the UK edition of Elle magazine, Gwen confesses she wears makeup every day. 'I wear make-up every single day; I like to wear make-up for Gavin and I don’t feel energised till I’ve put it on, then I’m ready to go."
When asked about her favorite video outfit, Gwen says: "I love the older stuff – the polka-dot dress in Don’t Speak. I’d had it for years before I wore it in the video. I’d bought it on the road and it had this musty smell that you couldn’t get rid of. And I love the tennis bra in Just a Girl – I get sentimental about those clothes," she admits.

Gwen knows how to harmoniously balance career and a happy family life. She married British grunge musician Gavin Rossdale in 2002 and they have two young sons. Speaking about their marriage, Gwen says: "I've been with Gavin for 14 years, and, let's face it, that is a huge accomplishment. I feel so proud of that – it hasn't been the easiest journey."

Rachel McAdams Covers Elle June 2011

Rachel McAdams graces the June 2011 cover of 'Elle' magazine. In the interview, the actress chats about her role in 'Mean Girls' and working with Owen Wilson in 'Midnight in Paris', but also about finding inspiration in her parents’ marriage and her expectations when it comes to relationships.
Rachel McAdams graces the cover of Elle's June 2011 issue. Inside the magazine, the beautiful 32-year-old Canadian-born actress strikes a few sexy poses, looking extremely alluring and provocative. It seems that Rachel McAdams became one of Hollywood's sweethearts since Woody Allen wrote a movie for her and Diane Keaton is her biggest fan.

In the interview with 'Elle' the actress opens up about her career and the critics’ reaction to 'Morning Glory', but also about her romantic character and finding inspiration in her parents’ marriage.
"[They are] Still together and still in love. I’m very blessed that way. I had a great example of love in front of me, and that’s probably what makes me such a romantic, because I’ve seen it firsthand," Rachel says about her parents.

And 'The Notebook' star, who is currently dating Michael Sheen, admits she is the romantic type of girl. "I am. When Billie Holiday comes on, I can’t help but be transported—and I’m sure it wasn’t as romantic then at all—but that’s the wonderful part of my job: dressing up and walking down the street in New York or Toronto, pretending I’m in the ’40s."

As for her expectations regarding relationships and love, Rachel told 'Elle' that, "You grow up and you assume that everyone is like that, and you quickly realize that they’re not, and then you have those days when you wonder if you’re going to find it for yourself. It’s such a hard thing to find. I think it was more that realization that rocked me."
Rachel's latest movie 'Midnight in Paris', written and directed by Woody Allen, will debut at the Cannes Film Festival this month. On working with Owen Wilson, the actress says that, "It’s definitely a different dynamic from the last time we were together. It wasn’t as fun being mean. I love that Woody likes good guys to be good guys and bad guys to be bad guys. Owen seemed to respond really well when I was a really bad guy."

On being rather uncertain when it comes to choosing a role, Rachel reveals that, "Sometimes I don’t think I’m the best person for the job. That was the case with Morning Glory. Sometimes I think, Really? You see me as this? Just because I don’t see myself that way, does that mean I shouldn’t do it? I tend to go, Is this the right decision? What are the ramifications of doing this part? You can start to overanalyze. But once I make the decision, it’s full steam ahead."

As for her role as the popular girl Regina George in 'Mean Girls', the actress admits she wouldn't have seen herself playing that part. "With Mean Girls, I originally auditioned for the part that Lindsay Lohan played. I wouldn’t have seen myself playing Regina at all. But when I read the script, I thought, Oh, this part is way more fun; I wonder who will play that," Rachel told 'Elle'.

Rachel also played Becky Fuller in Roger Michell’s romantic comedy 'Morning Glory' alongside a great cast including Diane Keaton and Harrison Ford. Still, the movie received mixed reviews and had a moderate success at the box office. "It’s funny, because so many people said to me, 'It’s the kind of film you don’t see anymore, done in a way that isn’t done anymore.' I thought that was a really positive thing, but apparently not. I only hear these businesspeople: 'Well, no one was sure who it was for," Rachel says about the critics’ reaction to 'Morning Glory'.
